Jin`s Korean Grill in Springfield

Introduced me to dolsat bibimbaps and I'm never going back to any other dish. It is exquisite! Love the kimchi as well. And everyone working there is super nice

Good food, good service BUt DIRTY BATHROOM! Pls guys clean your bathrooms, they're nasty!

I eat here pretty frequently and the staff is always super friendly and the food is always delicious! My go to dish is normally Jajangmyeon (which is noodles covered in a black bean sauce) but I love everything I've tried from here! The owner is really nice and always asks me about work as I work next door. I don't think I'll ever tire of this place, it's definitely one of the best Korean restaurants in town!

Food is consistently excellent, atmosphere cozy. Seems a bit understaffed but orders are not slow to come. Parking lot is a mess, however. It could be full yet only half the tables inside are occupied. Not really the restaurant's fault.

I love eating here. It's one of my favorite restaurants. I typically get the Soon Tofu and it is delicious!

Really great all the way around. Food is really good. Service is on a part with the best in town. It is small but the tables are well spaced and it is comfy. I always eat too much. That is not my usual behavior. I am a doggie bag person. But seldom here does that happen. It is too good. Thank you to the staff and owner.

Very nice staff and the food was great. A bit pricey in my opinion but nonetheless fulfilling.

I lived in Seoul, Korea for 8 years ...-----------------------------------REVISION 5/9/2017Have been to Jin's many times. Today I went in at 2PM for a late lunch and the place was near empty. I was asked to sit at a table next to one piled high with stinking dirty dishes. I asked to sit at my normal table, which was across the room, and was refused.... I asked if they would rather I leave, and they said, "Sure." I left and called to complain to the owner, who hung up on me after I explained what had just happened. It was the WORST restaurant service I have ever experienced. Though I have enjoyed the food in the past, there is no way I would return to Jin's unless the owner personally apologizes to me.

I love this restaurant. My sister, son, and I come at least once a month. My son loves the evening waitress and they hug hello and goodbye every time we visit. The food is always delicious, I highly recommend the bulgogi and an order of jeon. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. The restaurant is very small, but is laid out in a way that makes it feel bigger than it is. I highly recommend giving this place a try at least once!

We tried all the Korean restaurants in town and found this to be the best. Server is very nice and polite. They are not over priced and use good ingredients for cooking. I love their Korean Style Hot Pot!

Probably my favorite restaurant in town- always full and happy when I leave and everything I've tried so far is fantastic ♥️ Today it was the Dumpling HotPot!

This is a one-of-a-kind dining experience for Springfield. It’s hard to find anywhere else in town where the customer is treated so well. Even if the service was bad I’d still keep going back for the quality of the food.

Authentic, quality Korean restaurant. Great hot pot options. The meals come with banchan (Korean side dishes). A nice place to try if you’re looking for something a little different. The menu offers plenty to try. I can vouch that the hot pot is excellent. Service is good, and the server answered any questions I had when I was new to Korean cuisine.

Ignore the reviews less than 5 stars. If you're a Foodie you will LOVE this place. If you know good Korean food, you will LOVE this place. I don't visit Jin's for their bathrooms or parking. I go to Jin's to eat some delicious, authentic, Korean food. This is my #1 Favorite food find in Springfield, Mo.

Heard on good authority it's the best, most authentic Korean place in town. It's true! The service was excellent and you can tell the staff truly care for the restaurant and customers. It is very easy to be as adventurous or conservative as you want; there's really nothing too crazy served here at all. We had the teriyaki chicken and pork jaeyook (spicy, saucy pulled pork with rice n veggies). It was excellent and a great deal for lunch.

Me and my wife love jinns. It's always a treat the food is amazing and the service is fantastic. The owner always asks how we are and how the kids are. You don't get much better then this

Loved it. In a town dominated by Chinese fried everything, a decent Korean place was a welcome surprise. Great portions, tons of gratis appetizers, great food.

The restaurant with two names! The outside sign above the building says Jins. The sign on the door says Ma Ma's. Which ever one you prefer calling it they are both good. I usually get beef bulgogi and bring my own hot peppers. The appetizers are great! Everything I have tried here has been delicious!

I lived in South Korea for about 2 years and I have been on a hunt to find authentic Korean food. After a long search, I stumbled upon Ma Ma's and let me tell you, it is PERFECT. The closest I will ever get to Korean cuisine without hopping on a flight. Bulgogi, traditional hot pots such as gamjatang (pork bone soup) and budae jjigae (army, or sausage stew). Mandu for appetizers, which is not the same as Japanese gyoza. There are so many wonderful things to choose from. The prices are excellent for the abundant amount of food you get and the service is friendly. There are children's portions or dessert menus, but everything is large enough to share and the Korean coffee is a delightful way to end your meal.

My husband and I had the bibimbap and it was really good. We ordered it dol sot and the rice cooked to a tasty golden crisp.

Ma Ma's (formerly, Jin's) has a certain greatness about it that signals it as a good go-to place when you're hungry for good food and wanting quality time with others. The building itself has a certain character that you don't find elsewhere - a blink-and-you-miss-it hidden gem with Asian and vintage flair combined...almost hidden sitting on the corner in low profile from the outside but active on the inside. What is behind those neat retro doors in the front? Come inside and find out! Cozyosphere, full of personality and nooks throughout to enable quality conversation. And the food? It keeps my wife and I happily coming back for more when we want a special place to eat and connect with each other. The side dishes with the main meal are a nice touch too. You'll likely be quite full by the end of your time there, each time you visit. Be sure to tip you're really friendly and amazing Ma Ma's server(s) very well - God loves them so much and you should too!

Jin's is so great! Customers service is very good. But the FOOD, know the FOOD is the best in town. I have not gone wrong with any of their dishes, but I would recommend the Soon Tofu, I crave it every other day. I've also tried Soon Tofu @ other Korean restaurants, but no one makes it as good as Jin's. This place is also a hidden gem, it's attached to a scooter store and is so good. Many people in Springfield are too afraid to try new things, but this places is the place to try good Korean food!

Tried this place out and the food was amazing! Fresh korean food and everything was great. Very impressed and i hope this place sticks around for a long time

I enjoy the Korean food! No msg in any of the dishes. However, the menu doesn't really describe what the dishes are, which can make it difficult to know what to order.

Pleasant surprise! Not what I was expecting in a good way. Used to Korean food outside military bases. This was quality and quantity with great ingredients. Beef bulgogi and squid with vegetables.

Korean BBQ: I had the Bibimbap in a hot stone bowl. The hot stone bowl is the way to go. It keeps it hot for as long as you eat it. This is a fabulous place and choice especially if you are looking for good healthy comfort food. Give this place a shot for something new. This is especially good on cold wet days!

Authentic bibimbap. Fair prices and portion sizes. Recent menu changes causing some confusion with staff not yet fully knowledgeable of offerings. Try the "Korean Style Coffee". Not too sweet, not too creamy. I believe it's sweetened with honey.

The food is reasonably priced and had good flavor but wasn't hot. Don't know if that is by design or not I am not familiar with Korean food

I love Jin's! The staff is wonderful and give great service. The food is really flavorful with great quality. I even get their kimchi to go for at home. Would highly recommend.

Best Korean food in town. Always end up spending around 90 every time I eat here. ..if I could afford it I would order everything they have.

Ate here for the first time tonight! The food was AMAZING and authentic. Speedy service. Our waitress was very polite. The pricing was fair too. We will definitely come back for more!!
